Markets are assuming that fossil fuel companies will burn the fossil fuels that the world’s governments have, at least implicitly, said they cannot burn. That’s the “profound contradiction.”

Het verschijnsel op de foto is een vorm van flare die specifiek is voor de sensor (lichtgevoelige chip) van een digitale camera. De regenboog fungeert in de Griekse mythologie als verschijningsvorm van de godin Iris. Via deze 'brug' zou zij vanuit de hemel een boodschap brengen naar de aarde. In de Joodse mythologie bekrachtigde Jahweh zijn 'verbond' met Noach door middel van een regenboog, die voortaan als herinnering moest dienen aan de bijzondere band.
